Spirit of 37 - display v Newcastle

All I ever want to see is positive pro SAFC banners and nothing negative on our banners against any opposition. It doesn't matter what we think of them. Keep it all SAFC. They eyes of the footy world will be on us. Let them remember us for our positiveness and not some anti ugly shit
We should not be nasty about e.g Amanda Stavely or the people of Newcastle.

We should be highlighting human rights abuses and murder by their owners. Keep
it substantive. But don’t block this out. Come on.

Haway man, this isnt the time to be nicey nicey. A few red and white cards then hammered by a state owned team would not be in any way fun.

Some near the knuckle banners and some horrible chanting about that murderous regime would make the day worthwhile whatever happens.

'No blood on our hands,
No blood on our haaaaands,
You sad saudi bastards,
No blood on our hands'.

So people are aware, the cost of this is going to be anywhere from £15k to £45k, depending on what we do (which is dependent on what we raise).

Makes you wonder how the mags do it so often if it isn’t funded by the club.
The club do help them though don’t they? They just don’t publicly declare doing so.
Also if you can’t say that’s fine, but I would assume the club have made some sort of boundaries clear on what we can and can’t display?

Is the Saudi bit, a bit racist sounding? I know what it means but if its a way for the Saudis to throw it back in our faces?

Aye theres no doubt about it.. they will be heavily funded by the owners. Anything non FFP related that benefits the club will be rinsed.

The club won't know what the display will be until it has people physically displaying it. So we could go as anti Saudi as we like with them. I mean those cards that you hold up. Obviously that doesn't apply if it's a banner.

Find this hard to believe. Wouldnt be surprised if it was inspected on the morning and ripped down by the Saudi safety bloke

They have confirmed they have requested a full stadium display for the match. Request in with the club.

We have today spoken to #SAFC and confirm we are looking to put on a full stadium display for our FA Cup 3rd round tie.

Anyone who would like to support the display can do so via the link
