Spirit of 37 - display v Newcastle

Agreed. There's still people saying we had to give the mags the north stand. At least an admission that isn't the case would be welcome. They need to reset the relationship with those passionate enough to do the flags etc, but I'm not holding my breath tbh

Just posted on crowd turned thread similar to this response...the ownership are now on a slippery slide and will find it hard to get any good feeling back

What could they have said otherwise? If Newcastle and the safety board agree to 6k & bubbles, what can we do to stop it?

@Guinness Guzzler Tagging you as well, hope that’s ok as you both seem to agree.

Merry Christmas

The ground doesn’t get reconfigured without the club offering up a part of the ground. It’s as simple as that.

If the club hadn’t offered the North Stand, then the allocation would’ve been whatever the SAG deemed safe in the normal away end.

Thank you for the reply

Is there a plan that you know of for getting this information out to the wider fanbase who think the club had no choice?

Who is the person who shouldn’t be working for the club, do you know?

Of course it will, as you say, tick tock. Some want to support the club blindly, and fair play to them, but yeah we know what went on. Certain people (person) shouldn't work for our great club after this, I think we're in agreement on that
Are you sure those people (that person) acted alone and it wasn't what the majority owner would want anyway?

That's why I'm not confident it's as easy as an employee of the club fucked up. I think they might have done it chasing a couple of quid, and if so that leads to the owners.

If someone isn’t scapegoated soon it would certainly look that way imo. Either they or for or against and if they are against then it’s probably the worst PR disaster I can really remember tbh (off the field anyway) so I wouldn’t expect that person to be left in a position to to it again.

This is where not having people in charge who are tuned in to the mindset of the fans and the city is causing this fiasco.
Anyone of that ilk would not have remotely conceded to them on this.
If what could happen we get a tanking and we have the spectacle of 6000 of those fuckers taking the piss in one whole end of our gaff then they should never be forgiven, in fact they shouldn’t be anyway.

It’s also the fact how difficult they are making it for people to buy tickets , no other club would be run like this
Sales prevention office

Seems to me that 'the truth will out' and all will be revealed when the inevitable before, during and after crowd trouble occurs. They'll all be pointing fingers then and the individual(s) responsible for this debacle will be outed and I for one, hope that will be a permanent 'outing'.

See the usual suspects on Twitter/X are kicking off about the display and the cost etc

Children saying it’ll ruin the atmosphere and want to see where their donation money has gone. Why does that Charlotte lass in her mid 40s go on the way she does as well the attention seeking spenk.

Total cesspit that app now.

Aye I noticed that. They never offer any alternative ideas I’ve noticed
