Spinwash

The poor kids asked for one of the players autograph at the side of the pitch and he shouted ‘No at them. Phil De Freitas was nice enough to give them an autograph.

The two sky features / podcasts that go with this are excellent as well. There are low level club teams with better organisation and less chaos. We did well to lose the lot

Agree it was organised chaos, I was scathing of players at time but management and organisation is shambolic when u watch it

The squad selection was diabolical. Gower, Hussain and Russell not selected, Gatting and Emburey playing well past their best and Salisbury who was there as a net bowler ended up playing

Bit unlucky with the airlines being on strike but the squad seemed to enjoy the pints and naans on the train!

Just watched 2 episodes on YouTube. Is there more to come?

canny documentary so far. Class music of the era to accompany it.
How amateurish were the England management? Just looked an utter shambles.

Standard ECB (or TCCB) touring squad selection - pick a disjointed and unbalanced squad, then call up additional players to replace the ones you picked because they are shite
Sachin looked a right laugh when he was on camera.

Enjoyed it massively.

Noticeable how much Tuffers tones his accent down these days, hearing him during the film
Media training darling. He's now "Tuffers the media personality" not Phil from Barnet
