Easier said than done to replace those 2, especially with Xhaka another year older. There’s a reason why players of Sadikis style and calibre go for £70m+ . Roefs I think is more replaceable but even that could be a real challenge.

I understand what you mean about Diarra at Villa, but I feel like all teams have stories like it over a season. Imagine Everton made it 2-2 today with that header, or Villa scored the free header at the end of the game in the 1-1 at the SoL, or heaven forbid...Gerty didn't get the block in at the end against the scum (Yikes!)
There's loads of ifs and buts. We should have had a penalty against Everton at home. We should have lost games we won and vice versa. We should have beat Man Utd last week. We could have lost too.
We are where we are and we have a chance of Europe. Amazing season and a brilliant end.

Noah does so much of the unseen. It’s not under appreciated but I think it’s over estimated how much we’d miss him and how difficult it would be to find similar

I think big, big teams will take a shot at all three, and I wouldn't hold it against the club if they decide to make a boatload of cash on any of them, but for me, they're the only players in the squad who should be unsellable this summer.

I can see Mukiele and Roefs being the players that bigger clubs look at and think we don't need to wait, put a bid in now. I can see top clubs looking at Sadiki and Brobbey and thinking we'll give it another season, see how they go.
In the end, "the model" is a load of shite. Find gems and keep selling them for more money will, eventually, catch up with you. That's what happened to Wolves.
There aren't any of our best players we should be accepting any amount of money for. Le Fee is for sale however, he's not one of our best players.

Another important reason to get European qualification next week (esp if Europa) is to make it easier to keep some of these players (and to help us recruit at a high level too). If not, no complaints however.

Can see Roefs to Chelsea happening, Sanchez isn’t good enough. Although if we beat them next Sunday and results go our way, we’re surely the more attractive club to be playing for next season…

If he's that good a player, lets see what bids come in for him in the summer. It'll be like January. On the other hand, we'll get good money offered for Roefs and Mukiele.
