Not sure what his role is as DoF, but ffs surely he could have directed them not to pick the same sh@te as last week & not to wait until 70 minutes again to make changes. Unbelievable aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh

We are following some hair brained ideology regarding the age (lowering it) of the first team whilst trying to get out of a league where experience and leadership are key.

It is all very well to aim for the lowering of age, I’m all for it, however it must be done alongside players who can hold the hands of those younger players in times of trouble.

He’s cost us big time. Deciding to play on with a depleted squad due to covid and brought in 2 absolute nobody’s to take charge after we sacked Lee Johnson. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I seen the team sheet.
My thoughts exactly. He’s got a lot to answer for letting those three take charge today.

we've just signed Defoe and Batth.
Evans and Pritchard aren't spring chickens

Said on another thread - it would have been nice to have the option to play a back three today after a 6-0 defeat, or at least to change one of the centre halves.

However our esteemed “Director of Football” decided on Monday to leave this club with only two fit senior centre halves.one of whom isn’t senior at all - he’s 18 years old and increasingly looking out of his depth.

That’s the sort of ludicrous stuff that can happen, when you put recruitment in the hands of someone who doesn’t carry the responsibility for results.

"I think the great thing is everyone is really calm and patient about it. Everyone has got a lot of respect and really trust the staff here and the players.”

Who’s f*ing everyone? I don’t, don’t think many of the 38000 at the game does. You shouldn’t, you should find out when RK can start, make it happen and sack Dodds.

We absolutely need a sporting director and he has done several good things, but my god he is hard to listen too. Clearly thinks he is far, far more intelligent and he is so verbose it borders on cringeworthy.
His verbosity includes incorrect and nonexistent words, which makes anyone seem suspicious in my book.

I’m surprised he let the caretaker duo pick a team, formation and tactics the same as the man he’s just sacked for being shit but I personally think he’s done a good job in getting players that we got in January. that defeat lays firmly at the door of the duo that were caretakers today and both of them should be sacked immediately.

A defence who haven't been able to defend all season too.
