Hopefully mate given time he will sort the backend out and does seem to have good links for some bargains. The incoming new owners may have promised him things to tempt him.
I guess time will tell, see how this summer works out. I do think even though I’ve been critical of him at times he played a huge role with very limited funds at times.I absolutely did not think this at the time, but a) the fact that we got rid of him in the first place and b) that he hasn't exactly been snapped up by another ambitious club makes me think I may have overplayed his role in my own head.
Sounds like the vision and strategy were more flowing down from KLD than flowering from KS. That doesn't change anything he did and said (restructuring, establishing a team identity, investing in data systems, revamping recruitment) but this was him implementing KLD's vision/following his direction (albeit doing it well!) rather than bringing his own blueprint to the club. He'd only really been the head of BCFC academy for 14 years, right?
Of course, that means he was most useful as we were looking to get promoted by buying young players and developing them - to improve the team and sell some on to allow reinvestment. But once we had got to the Premier League that can only be one part of the story (though still an important one), so time to upgrade.
Or a meringue.
Certainly may be in clubs ear for a loan.Maybe he could take a few players with him?
I'm not, as soon as we got to the premier league he was moved aside as the club clearly felt he didn't have the contacts to operate on the european stage.Surprised there is not PL interest.
We'll take Browne back from you.Maybe he could take a few players with him?
Would he be welcome, he will be moved on in the summer he’s miles away from this level unfortunately. Trust us to sign an almost ever present and injure him for long periodsWe'll take Browne back from you.

If all goes to plan, this will change in the coming weeks.Surprised if it’s true as I doubt there will be much of a budget there to work with.
They will surely press on with Speakers there.Whoever gets him will be very lucky.
He'd be an exceptional hire for Preston.

I raise you one William StoreyHopefully. Anything is better than Peter Ridsdale.
Has he ever sent 3 different teams into administration and stagnated a fourth team that they're branded the 'most boring team in England'
No but only because he hasn't got a pot to piss in so he never gets much further than emailing various club owners and administratorsHas he ever sent 3 different teams into administration and stagnated a fourth team that they're branded the 'most boring team in England'![]()
