Anyone looked at trains for this yet ?
Euston closed that weekend ( I use the west coast generally)
St Pancras reduced lines due to engineering work
and looks like bus replacements for Prittlewell which is the closest station to the ground
Oh and it's 5:30 pm kick off as well

The travel put me off like. Too far to drive by myself, train issues and would have to factor in an overnight stay on a bank holiday weekend in a popular tourist destination.

Only 2000 tickets too so I wasn't sure if we'd get tickets based on our points history either.

Durham to KX booked 2 month ago, £39 return with Railcards, (Return Sunday).
London Liverpool St. to Southend Central booked, £16 Return with Railcards.
Southend Travelodge booked last September £43 each (£86 per Room).
£98 for a couple of Days away with the Lads watching the Lads.:cool:

Yep Swindon to Southend Central for me - straight into the town centre few pubs on walk to the ground - that being said might stay in London around Liverpool Street and drink there, train out and walk to ground. Undecided yet though as 5:30pm kick off.
