I must admit I hadn’t noticed how many thickies we had on here until spygate kicked off. It's quite funny.
People are still saying - Southampton should be kicked out because they cheated, which gives them an unfair advantage.
But then - Boro should be out cos they lost, even though Southampton's cheating (and unfair advantage) puts Boro at a disadvantage.
Then it's 'promote Hull' - even though they haven't won the plays offs and haven't been cheated against
My post was tongue in cheek, and yes, I agree with you.Yes, there's certainly a difference between Boro/Hpool accents , that's my point.
There's actually quite a difference between Boro/Stockton accents, joking aside
There is fuck all to enquire further about, SFC have admitted the charge. They’re just (wrongly) bitching about the punishment.Postpone the final, to conduct more enquiries, and if the game has to be played between Hull & Boro, it'll be unlikely to be played at Wembley, which is apparently booked many months in advance.
The final could then, possibly be played at a later date, at Old Trafford, which is adequate to host a game, suited to accommodate the fan bases of both Hull & Boro.
Haven't they admitted to 2 games they lost and the first leg draw against Boro? How convenient, we watched them train but we're so bad at spying that it actually cost us.Imho they'll make some sort of challenge once the dust settles somewhat. Might even try and get a few others to join them in complaining. It looks fairly certain that the 3 they've admitted is the tip of the iceberg.
Ohf course it didn't because they were caught doing it, do you think he then gave the video back to the coaching staffBased on the first leg, the spying didn't actually impact Boro too much, it was the profligacy in front of goal that cost them.
YesBoro playe two legs of a semi final and didn’t win either of them.
Southampton need to sack them asap as a damage recovery operation. If they don’t it obviously goes higher. One of two outcomes for me, either Hull go up automatically or they play the smogs. Southampton's participation should be over. If they get away with a 4 point deduction they should consider themselves lucky, if any of the senior coaching staff were involved, they should be suspended from the game
My opinion, Boro could and should have been 2 or 3 up if they could finish. They were all over Southampton, unless that was part of what they learned. Let them swarm all over us in the first leg so they're too knackered for the second leg.Source?
Have a look on the Southampton forum mate. Some of them think Boro have had this sting planned for months and have been putting the pieces in place like Professor Moriarty or something. Why do Southampton fans have an issue with Boro?
What the fuck did Boro or their fans do wrong?
So what? Totally irrelevant. They drew one so scratch that game, and they lost 2-1 in the other after extra time, but they were the victims of the spying so they are the beneficiaries of the expulsion. They didn’t have the chance to win the game fairly. It’s the equivalent of being awarded a 3-0 win.Boro playe two legs of a semi final and didn’t win either of them.
No commentI must admit I hadn’t noticed how many thickies we had on here until spygate kicked off.
IrrekevantBased on the first leg, the spying didn't actually impact Boro too much, it was the profligacy in front of goal that cost them.
If this is the case then Southampton will be in further trouble n may be facing more points deductions.Imho they'll make some sort of challenge once the dust settles somewhat. Might even try and get a few others to join them in complaining. It looks fairly certain that the 3 they've admitted is the tip of the iceberg.
I was alluding to Hull City, who are apparently consulting lawyers, to possibly put forward an appeal, that they should automatically be promoted, after Southampton's expulsion. There is fuck all to enquire further about, SFC have admitted the charge. They’re just (wrongly) bitching about the punishment.
Aye mate , so was mine.My post was tongue in cheek, and yes, I agree with you.![]()
Possibly, but the offences during the regular season will be treat as a separate case to this one, and Southampton could be shafted up the arse much worse for those ones, if it can be shown they've been doing it all season. However that won't affect the play-off results or their aftermathImho they'll make some sort of challenge once the dust settles somewhat. Might even try and get a few others to join them in complaining. It looks fairly certain that the 3 they've admitted is the tip of the iceberg.
Easy for you to sayIrrekevant
