I've read the CAS has no juristriction over EFLI think we could be waiting weeks... As surely if appeal fails their will go to CAS
Glad we are not on that list.![]()
Its also unfair on Wrexham ? Who if Southampton had the point deduction this year.. Not next season would be in the play offs.... The whole thing stinks and rightly their need to be made example of as it brings the league table in to dispute.I just find it a little hypocritcal of Gibson and Boro to demand action as they were wronged.
Yet have zero issue with the verdict being unjust to Hull. Its rank tbf and I hope Hull beat them for justice
How is unjust to Hull, the preparation?I just find it a little hypocritcal of Gibson and Boro to demand action as they were wronged.

I guess because hull have had to prepare for Southampton primarily and now suddenly boro, where as the other two only hullHow is unjust to Hull, the preparation?
To be honest not just next season but this is pretty big. I think it’ll hang over them for many years to come.No Southampton fans bear any responsibility for this but they do need to realise how it reflects on their club. Their frustration and anger should be with their club management not the wider football community.
They will take some stick next season both home and away from every fanbase in the Championship.

If you watched the play off semi game down at Southampton, they had an older "ball boy" that seemed to be playing silly games. You must be logged on to see media items
Of course it is. They brought in a law for this specific reason and these f***ing idiots decided to try flout it. They deserve everything they get. The EFL had to set a precedent and if they dished out a fine that would have sent an awful message to every other club that cheating is fine and you can still prosper.Bit worrying that clubs so high up the food chain have such piss poor security that someone could get so near the players without being challenged
I'm still not convinced that it's a proportionate punishment though
I enjoyed the exact moment the news broke. That saintsweb is a proper howl. All day they’ve been making jokes about how long it’s dragged on, laughing at Boro, then the news came and the forum broke down
Now they’re whinging it’s not fair, despite admitting 3 charges of cheating (clearly only admitting the ones that didn’t lead to victories.
Eckart now admitted he was responsible, but “Didn’t know it wasn’t allowed”
Surely he’ll have to resign in the morning?
How is unjust to Hull, the preparation?
I think Banksy* was adamant Soton wouldn’t be hoyed out and now he/she is doubling down by claiming it’s not fair on Hull. How is unjust to Hull, the preparation?
