Southampton spying compendium thread

Obviously Southampton players miss out on potential big wage increases that would have followed if they had beaten Hull.

However, let’s face it, every Southampton player must have known what was going on when they were told what they had to do to combat opposition set pieces for instance.

Karma.

They can't afford to cancel their showpiece final.
That's exactly why the FL will be raging with Southampton .

There has to be a Final there's the sponsors think of and everything has been booked and paid for but with a well defeated semi finalist having to take part in it the whole thing is now going to be a bit of a farce - a damp squib . The bad smell of Southampton will be hanging over the whole event .

Hull has been totally distracted for the past week and Boro are well Boro, If those two teams are capable of producing even a half decent game after all the uncertainty then they will be doing very well .

I am also very sorry for the Saints fans their Club has let them down very badly . Football fans can usually take disappointment on the pitch but this is on another level . Whoever is responsible for it - the manager of higher - they all need to be moved on and to be fair they should do it themselves.

The William Salt Spygate Saga

Poor William Salt

William Salt will become football folklore

Finished in football before he started. Hope he sues his Saints overlords for ruining his life or something

Well every other team in the league should appeal then
They would have a perfect right to especially if they have been directly affected.

Not really, they'll likely have assumed it was part of the normal analysis all clubs do - so not have thought anything of it at all, until the accusations were levelled.

Thousands of Saints fans will have purchased non refundable train tickets. You can see thousands still turning up and causing havoc on Wembley way and outside the stadium. I think the Met will be worried.

The players wouldn't have known I doubt. They are just going off instructions. Mind that Southampton captain doing binocular signs to the Boro player has made himself look a right twat
