Other than Swindon, not really. The EFL aren’t going to expel them out of the play offs. Is there any evidence they’ve done this before?
I think they will let the games be played and if Soton go through then kick them out.The EFL aren’t going to expel them out of the play offs. Is there any evidence they’ve done this before?
That's the logical thing to do.I think they will let the games be played and if Soton go through then kick them out.
They won’t do anything until after the plays offs, this is the EFL we are talking about.I think they will let the games be played and if Soton go through then kick them out.
I think both games will be played as it would be unfair on Millwall/Hull if Boro had long rest before the final.I think they will let the games be played and if Soton go through then kick them out.
Yep.I think both games will be played as it would be unfair on Millwall/Hull if Boro had long rest before the final.
I didn’t know they were streaming it. That is shocking! I assumed it was someone writing in a notebook (which is still bad enough). Southampton’s form is that good they don’t need to be cheating like this. But suppose £200m to get to the premier league teams will use the dark arts![]()

Played each other twice etc. makes no sense boro not likely to change everything are they. It’s bullshit mind and pure cheating. They've had 40 games to suss them out. Why on earth would you need to do this?
Staff movements including train tickets, expense receipts etc should be combed through to see if there are any pattens with opposition locations weeks before games....The EFL need to go nuclear on this. If they don't, the rewards are so huge that it'll be worth clubs risking being found out. Look at the financial shenanigans that have gone on elsewhere.
It's a case of act decisively now or have these things happen each season going forward.
They should demand access to Southampton's records too, to see if there's evidence of this happening during the season. Is it the reason for their dramatic upturn in form?
Totally agree, an easy way of getting to the bottom of this is follow the money. Who paid for the equipment and what payments does the spy receive and who are they from. Any payments linking back to Southampton means they are guilty and would blow any potential lone wolf defence out of the water. The EFL need to go nuclear on this. It would be deliciously ironic if a data lead investigation leads to punishments for... data collecting...Totally agree, an easy way of getting to the bottom of this is follow the money. Ask yourself the question, why has their form been so good? It doesn’t appear to be a one-off.I didn’t know they were streaming it. That is shocking! SwindonWill the EFL have the balls to go really big on Southampton with this though? They have a predicament on their hands because if Southampton go on and win it then the spying looks justified, and any fine will be seen as 'worth it' for the money the Premier League will bring them.
