Southampton Forum Meltdown

Given the choice (hypothetically), Id rather swap with Chelsea or Man City.

If you think that anybody would wish to swap with Sunderland on any level at all, you must have a screw loose to even think it.

They piss me off. They are a nothing club who nobody gives two hoots about. Survive, invest and keep the progression under Gus next season and we'll finish above them imo

Arrogant as fuck, shame really as ive met some sound as fuck very grounded Saints fans this season, the thing with forums, especially this one is that i gives morons and shitehawks a voice whereas they'd likely be kicked to fuck in a pub or left bleeding in a gutter 15 years ago if they went on like some do on here.

If we do stay up, I would fancy our chances of finishing above them under Poyet next season.

The turnaround has been dramatic. If we can stop getting stupid red cards then we should be ok.

I won't be reading that, I've always hated them and Portsmouth - as gash as each other. I was at "The Den" in 1967/8 I think it was when Monty was barged into the net by Fuckwitt McGrath and the ref allowed the goal. Monty was booked for chasing the ref all the way to the halfway line - I have never seen him so angry. Cheating bastards.

Edit! It may have been Paine and not McGrath. Can't remember now.

'That's why I think he needs to review his approach a bit more. And Sunderland made as many changes as us to their side, but did that change their attitude? No. When clubs prioritize competitions so clearly, particularly in terms of attitude, it suggests someone wasn't up for it. Poyet, for all his rather arrogant and unpleasant character, seems to be more worried about having "Poyet AFC" out than MP did. That is difference. And that shows in the attitude of players. Their side was not better than ours.'

Not many fans like Poyet, well Poyet as a person anyway.

I didn't realise people don't like Poyet! Why?

of which i am one. we had less than 17000 there today. that's shite no matter which way you look at it.

there's people all over this board saying how great a fan they are and are deserving of a ticket for the final yet can't be arsed to turn out today. nothing personal, it is what it is.[/quote
easy to agree, cost is the key imo and who knows circumstances of the real fans

Who the fuck do they think they are? Southampton as a club couldn't lick the shite off our boots

We deserved to win, regardless what those bellends think.
I never thought we would when I saw the team, but we played well, and had a few chances to make it 3-0 imo.

f***ing freezing my bollocks off was worth it!
