South Stand Muppets

Astounds me that with a (fairly decent sized) police control box right above them at the south stand (which was build there originally with the intention of keeping a close presence to the away fans who used to be there), the stewards and police can't simply pick out the arsehats by eye or with cameras and eject them.

Hardly ever see (can't remember this season so far) anyone physically being picked out, the police going up to them and dragging them out.

Seems to be a recurring theme every game now, south stand scruffs.

It's the growing number of scruffy chav bairns who go in big groups and try to act hard. It's cringeworthy.

Only really been noticeable over the last 4/5 years (max).

I remember when the south stand was a comfortable place to watch the match, horrible now. We moved our SC seats because of it.
Let's not include all the South Stand.
Some great supporters there and have been there since the section was opened.

There was a lad escorted out on Saturday for drinking in the seats.

I’ve stood in the south stand for years now and have no issue with it. There’s an element of young kids who throw beer about at half time but that’s gotten a lot better recently. Other than that, I rarely see any bother or reason to complain.

Sadly a lot of people on this thread can’t process this mate. Some really poor comments regarding our own supporters. You certainly wouldn’t want mates like that.

Not what I said.

it's a noticeable minority ruining it for a lot.

Read what I said, I've not had a go at all the south stand.

Ffs man..

I wasn’t having a go at you in particular, apologies if it came across that way. I was just making the point that lots of people on this thread have generalized and labeled the entire south stand the same, which isn’t fair.

I reckon away fans will get moved back there next season anyway , the layout it use to be

This would be the sensible option. Away fans can't stay where they are and the South appears to be being filled more and more with brainless clowns.

Kills 2 birds with one stone so to speak.

Remove the idiots and concentrate on getting the SWC back to what it was. They could drown the away support out with ease when they were on it
I hear so much about the SW corner and to be honest, I stood in the original North Stand when it was the home end and you could hardly hear them.

Be no surprise if the club knock the displays on the head.
Good!

Make stupid gestures, don’t complain if people do stupid things with it

Chucking paper at military at half time sounds like the best bit of yesterday
What is funny about it?
Chucking their daft paper back on the pitch is hilarious

If they try and stop it, just chuck more!

More, more, more! How do you like it, how do you like it?

Imagine being up at court on a charge with a sentence that carries a term in the “ big house.” If found guilty.
They bring in the jury ... and before you’ve pleaded your case and any evidence is heard .. the jury of a 5 day trial, after only 2 mins . Call a halt to proceedings. They go downstairs.. only to return straight away, to announce a unanimous guilty verdict .
It’s then you realise the jury contains several members of the SMB forum 😂

I'm beginning to think there are no cameras in the ground and that security room they used to have is now just Andy Peters sitting with his hand up a puppets arse.

Still yet to see anything at all done about the away fans throwing things for years in terms of identifying anyone.
South Stand Muppets.

Oh hang on a second...

🙄

"Fans throw object"

Was it too heavy for only one of them to throw it?

The fact is the rest of the ground have gave up and let the kiddies in the South Stand make the noise. They know f*ck all about football and think each half last 35 minutes and go to the bogs cos they’ve pissed themselves with excitement at screaming like they were back in their prams. Their parents are just glad to get the the little prat’s out to give them some relief.

Literally one of the most bizarre posts on this forum.

Incredible patter.
