South Stand Muppets

Is that the best you can come up with?
Very poor, try some more of your insightful political reasons for being a muppet.
Alreet Kermit ... I realise I’m dealing with someone thicker than a castle wall here... with little or no life except this forum.... keep taking your meds. It’ll help ... a little .

1) people were throwing poppy display paper balls on the pitch at our players when they were attacking.

2) someone has been ejected for using a laser pen

3) groundstaff are clearing paper balls of pitch at half time, so people are throwing more on

4) paper balls thrown at the soldiers doing the half time challenge

What the hell is the matter with folks? I'm vexed 🤬
Without reading rest of thread, young’uns have got no respect, and owld one’s are thick as fuck

Feels a bit like a mountain out of a mole hill to me like, the laser pen is disgraceful but the rest of it is pretty harmless. Also abusing opposition players is part of the role of fans, as long as it's not racist, homophobic etc obviously.
No play offs this year for the cheeses . I’ll put that out there

No paper displays were thrown any where near any players, not even there keeper but yes did end up on the pitch.
No papers thrown anywhere near any soldiers and One kid with a laser pen.
Stop twisting about a load of nowt and making it sound worse than it was.

A can remember the mags game where the full stadium held red and white display cards and it all went up as confetti before kick off could hardly see the goal lines. The Stewards brushed it into the boards then got rid at half time probably what needs doing on the next display.
They were throwing coins aswel man, given the amount of publicity lately about away fans doing it they are doing it now. So it IS as bad as it sounds.

If becs is vexed then serious action is required

Paper has been thrown after nearly every display we’ve had. As it does at any ground and has been happening for years. It happened before the Sheffield Wednesday play off game also.

It has nothing to do with not respecting Remembrance Day or the meaning behind it. I sit in the south stand because it’s a better atmosphere than anywhere else in the ground and I can confirm not everyone who sits there are “muppets”. The lads and lasses around me are great, always getting behind the lads and good crack to chat to.
There’s a video of things being thrown from the north stand, so are they all muppets to who sit there?

The south stand gets constant criticism because of a few idiots who boo the knee / a few kids who group together, but it’s largely full of people who want to make a better atmosphere in the ground, that everyone else constantly criticises yet isn’t prepared to do anything about.

We’ve got bigger things to worry about and it’s poor from the OP to label everyone in the south stand as a muppet because she’s got a bit upset over some paper being thrown about. People can’t do anything these days without someone having a pop.

What an absolute fuss over nothing mind

A few paper aeroplanes and the half time thing was good crack they loved it. A few walked past us in the north stand
Even if it was balled up card from the display, it makes a mockery of us criticising away fans if we through stuff at opponents.

Even worse when it stops us taking corners because officials need to clear the pitch & while they’re doing so, people are still hoying stuff on the pitch. The match was actually stopped (albeit for 30seconds) because if stuff thrown on the pitch.

The south stand need to do some self policing if its the minority like you suggest. Get it sorted out among the stand.

I’d happily say something to someone next to me if they boo’d the knee. But it happens from further back. There was people in my row hoying paper about but it was a bit of crack, hoying them at their mates etc. The paper on the pitch must’ve came from closer to the bottom of the stand cos I don’t reckon from where I am you’d reach the pitch.
