They enter the playoffs at the semi final stage like the team in 3rd. 4th play 7th and 5th play 6th to see who plays Shields and the 3rd team. They only play one leg and the team who finished higher in the league gets home advantage.

You have to respect Geoff, he's worked endlessly to improve the club, spending his own money at big cost. It looks like he hasn't decided to sell to whoever wants to buy it, but has made sure there is a framework in place, where he has a big say so it's not a mess.

Yes exactly, its not a deal whereby the club is gifted to asset strippers or people with no interest in the football. I'd rather keep full ownership local, sadly my lottery tickets have not come up trumps..... but I trust Geoff to do what is right for the long term success of the club

I hate to say it but this is a South Shields thread not an AFC Fylde thread it’s nothing towards anyone personally but does my head in how we talk about our biggest rivals on here. Who cares about them? We go up automatically then yay, whoopy-doo and if it has to be the playoffs then so be it, we are strong and have the ability to conquer it. UTM.
