Just over a year away I know, but this is more about travel plans than the cricket itself.

Anyone planning on going out there? I'm hoping to do the Cape Town test in the first week of 2020.

The last 5 series out there this fixture has been played between 2-9 January. Should be easy to book flights well in advance, probably much cheaper, before the fixture date is finalised if you book two weeks from 29 Dec. A very high degree of certainty you'll be there for the test.

Got my eye on cape town. Problem is work has a policy of not discussing holidays over Christmas until September so might have to be later Jan or earlier in December

It's hard getting Christmas/New Year off for me, but I'll throw me rattle out of the pram and threaten to resign.

Fly out Christmas/ Boxing Day and do two mate if you're taking that much leave off. Plenty of time to see the countryside if you're willing to miss a day or two of cricket in between.

Boxing Day test likely to the Durban or Port Elizabeth (where we haven't played since '04 but Durban has been getting shit crowds).

If you're going to do one Cape Town seems the best though

Great times to watch in the uk as well

I’m going to put people under pressure

Get the tv angles right for the flags. Down third man, both ends, around fourth slip angle

Like poledancer (rip) was an expert in

Often that meant him blagging into a ground before breakfast though, there's some serious competition for those spots!

Aye, it was always an early start whenever I was with him at venues abroad

See 'Romford Mackems' have got theirs up today in addition to the Seaham and Birtley lads. Often see that in the South Stand.
Yup, just doing yest and today is that flag.

As has been said, need to be up with the larks to get the best spots. I'm on holiday, be fucked if I'm getting up early just to get a good place for my flag!
