I had no problems with Muchall at the start of the season like (LV especially) I was a bit concerned with his pro40 run rate. Playing him yesterday though, I'm hoping it was due to Diva's shoulder injury rather than tactics. Like someones said, when he's bad he's a disaster
 

Will Smith is a strange one, totally out of the picture beginning of the season but now is a regular part of the LVCC team.

Muchall - Not sure. Would rather Stoneman opened with Smith at 3

Stoneman - done canny back end of season. Should see him start next season opening with MDV.

then get dropped halfway through like normal, at which point Rentaghost will tell us he has one more year left to prove himself then he should be released :lol:
 
An opening order of Diva, Rocky, Stokes, Smiths would be a good transition like, 3 out of 4 young players. (If we can keep Stokes that is)

Stoneman seems to have done better batting at 3 in the LVCC. Whenever he opens the batting he very rarely gets past 30. Perhaps it's all in the mind but there may be a bit more pressure on him when he is an opener. I would be tempted to keep him at 3 and let Smith open with Diva.

Diva's gonna leave us soon so we might as well try to groom a replacement.

Having a bloke in your 4day team who averages 34 an contributes nothing with the ball or in the field isn't good craic imho. I notice must be this years average because his career average is something like 31 iirc (same for Smith too) which imho is absolute garbage for a top order batsman. I bet there aren't many people who are in a county team solely for there batting and have had a 10 year career yet only average 31... (surely?)
