"Surrey didn't play well last week because they knew they were already through and had the home tie"

What a patronising that f***ing Charles is

rubbish.

they are just an under-performing one day side who put more emphasis on 4 day stuff.

Try - past it as a top domestic one day side, carrying too many players over the hill or not good enough.

Collys revolution starts next year

id lose Di Venuto and Harmison next year

how many sides do well in both forms on a consistent basis

Hampshire and Leics great 20/20 campaigns bottom of both cc leagues

Game over. I'm not sure about losing Diva. Harmsion I wouldn't miss.

He's got a year left on his contract so unless he retires we have him next season.

He's clearly in decline but he's been outstanding for the club, particularly over the last few years so I don't begrudge him another years contract.

Re: today - we just didn't get going, Benks superb but nobody else could get going. One thing I did think was evident today is that we seem to be carrying too many people in the field. Blackwell offers us a lot but for any professional sportsman to be in that shape is disgusting IMO, Claydon and Muchall aren't particularly mobile and for all Benks is actually a good fielder, his body is falling to bits. We need some fresh impetus in the field if we can find it, having Colly back full-time should help.

Bunny is fine, and Plunkett is an excellent fielder, the rest are very average.

Agreed. Smiths very good too. I'd have rather seen either of them in than Muchall (who looked very average in the field) going on current form.

To be fair like, Somersets outfield's a disgrace.
