My mate who works at the stadium told me on Thursday that the actual scoreboards were received weeks ago, but there's still fabrication work to be done on the supporting metalwork etc

Doubt it can’t see that being an either or situation. Like others have said must have been on back order, still seems to have took a fairly long time to get them installed.

Amazing how much quicker the clock goes when you’re not looking at it every minute while hanging onto a slender lead!
I thought we were on about 80 minutes when they announced 8 minutes of added on time, where did that come from btw!!

I sit in the south stand and noticed that there was a scoreboard with time in the east stand yesterday. I’ve never noticed that before. It was on one of LED advertising screens in the middle of the stand

Maybe because they wanted to make sure we would stay up before putting scoreboards up, names on stands and of course, the extension and monorail.
