Not at them prices they wontPeople would just end up hoping pints around though. I don’t want to leave the stadium drenched in pints.
There are 1000s go down on 35 mins, 1000s who come back 5 or 10 mins into the 2nd half, and a canny % do both!A pint and a pie can’t be worth more than the game surely ? Can people simply not wait to enjoy some afterwards ?
Would have a nice facelift also. The view from the bridge would be tremendousImagine the south stand as one massive stand, no tier. Wow, that would create some sound.
Food for thought isn’t itIf they're not going to continue the painting round to the south stand, then they clearly have other plans for it![]()
Spent most of half time queuing for bottle of water , just got back for serving half , loads behind me still queuing if was for booze they must have missed loads of second half , unless they necked their pints in oneI really don't understand the clamour to have a drink at half time, especially how long it takes to get served and the price of the pints.
Literally 100% this. Regardless of your ticket price and place in the stadium, football should do itself a favour and make big improvements to the off pitch experience. Nicer toilets away from bar queues, more efficient food and drink service (most fast food places now have those touch screen systems, so no lines of queues at all), could even have an app to order your drinks and food.It was my first time in the premier concourse on Saturday I've always been in the lower ties I got in the ground about 3/4 of an hour before kick off quite easy to get a drink and got myself next to the window with a great view over the river it was like chalk and cheese from being stuck under the stands. The point is we need a better stadium experience for supporters to come into the ground early and spend their money not just extra seats expand out for bigger concourses. But at half time it was mayhem as usual
It's just the normal staff tbf, every season there's new starters, this is no different. The new catering company Delaware North have a load of new employees they didn't have a clue they needed helping out by what looked like the older stadium employees. One had to come and show this guy how to use the touch screen for payment I got a pint and a half and payed by contact less when I checked at home I only payed £2.50.

There's some near us get in seats after ko, go down on 35 and come back after 50.
Personal i find it mental, missing 20 mins of a 90 min match, but its habit for some.
I do think that bigger, more spacious concourses with more efficient, quicker service, would mean it happened less though. Make it quicker and then habits might change.
We're in PC, all they need is a bottle bar at either end. Problem solved and will take pressure off the bars.It was my first time in the premier concourse on Saturday I've always been in the lower ties I got in the ground about 3/4 of an hour before kick off quite easy to get a drink and got myself next to the window with a great view over the river it was like chalk and cheese from being stuck under the stands.
