SoL To Undergo Multi-Million-Pound Investment Programme

Absolutely zero standards!
That’s the thing it’s runs throughout the off the field running of the club. We are still in league one in that regards. This multi million pound refurb is becoming a bit of a joke the ground is a bit of a tip and then you see shit like that. Standards are very low and this is how shite like the bcb happened no one is being held accountable or on top of things.

Has someone just thrown the paint straight from the tin?
People often say roker was falling down etc towards the end, and yes it was 99 years old, but it was always really well cared for with things like this. Fresh paint every season and always done with care.

Not that it matters I guess, but why are the rails we've installed in the south stand not painted red?

If you don't do a job right the first time, you end up paying 2/3 times as much in rectfy it, which in itself leads to a bigger waste of money.

Looks like they've got some of the bar staff in to paint those walls, as I can't think that any proper painter/decorator would be happy to put their name to that with social media kicking around these days.

Really amateur stuff from the club.

The f***ing state of that😂😂😂

I know people like to say I’m a negative Nancy but they really don’t help themselves do they?

There’ll be loads of local painters/decorators who’d absolutely love the contract to refurb the stadium by giving it a lick of paint. Would probably set them up for 6 months or so and would help local businesses.

Instead it looks like they’ve gotten some community service lads to have a paint fight.

It's embarrassing

Exactly give the job to a local firm, it’s giving a bit back to local businesses.

I honestly can’t get over the state of it!

Same could be said of the team to be honest. The ground has needed serious investment for years but every owner has ignored it.

Certainly seems that way..and from a personal perspective (time-served electrician) I would hope that any electrical work carried out in the current refurbishment is of a much higher standard..If not, the consequences could be much more serious.

I’ve said this before but 26 stewards chatting in a group might be better served

A) controlling the crowd on the concourse

B) Stand in the toilet and stop the vaping and blatant drug taking

C) make your the entrance/exit to the toilets are actually followed
