Looked like you can only order on the screens I think. Wonder if we go back to what we had years ago where you could order on your phone as well and then go down to collect. That was a god send.

NFC works fine when paying for something in shops, pubs, etc but not with these useless scanners. We put man on the moon in 1969 FFS!

My girlfriend has a samsung and she got it to work but she was just wiggling it around for 15 seconds until she found the sweet spot. couldn’t tell you where it was like. Strange because I have an iPhone and i hadn’t even put my phone right to the scanner and it was already green. Really odd scanners.

Scanners not detecting NFC seems random, family in queue ahead of me had a problem, system let 2 in and other failed. I must be lucky as not had any problems. The scanners need checking to see if it is a particular phone causing a problem or if it is random. Of course this should have been done during close season.

It's worked fine with NFC for me from day one on an Android (Experia). That's in the BCB though, which seems to have different scanners.

Never works form my Samsung. Have to use the qr code which equally can take ages to hit the right angle. Never had any problem when it was the old system
