If the ground needs that much spending on it then thats the cost.
Roof is probably coming towards the end of its current lifetime, as seen by various leaks and corrosion. The steel work is rusting away at the back of the East stand.
The PA system has needed improving for years.
The hospitality areas have needed updating, which has now been completed.
It's needs properly jet washing as it's scruffy looking from the outside.
Pitch has been replaced as well as the flood lights.... So when it's all added up it needs well in excess of £2-3m spending on it.
 
Imagine the shit if on Sunday it looks the same, still has scum graffiti in the toilets and you can’t hear wtf the team is, but the grass is green, but not as green as it used to be. 😂
 
Has anyone got a photo of the safe standing zone

Last I saw they hadn’t done one of the blocks (u39) that was originally stated as being converted to safe standing

Would be classic SAFC to forget about one of the sections
