It was investigated by the police for a start which ultimately led to no action being taken but the point i'm trying to make is Palace didn't know about the banner nor sanction it. If SAFC knew about the display organised by S037 and said yeah go ahead, they could be putting themselves in a position to be in bother. I don't agree with it but how do we know NUFC wouldn't have had some sort of expensive legal case against SAFC for sanctioning it? Rightly or wrongly I just cannot envisage any club allowing it.

I don't know? I agree a NUFC fan should not be in any sort of employment with the club at that level. I do see though why the display was stopped.

I'm sure some of it will, how much of it is required by HSE anyway is any ones guess. People seem to be taking a lick of paint and a new wifi connection as proof KLD isnt going to sell up and is here for the long haul.

I reckon he's simply sprucing things up with borrowed money to make his asset look a little more shiny. Just imho of course.

Think the borrowed money on the balance sheet will take any shine off investing for interested parties.

5G is 2025 but this was announced a few months ago. The safe standing must be for the start of the season as they’ve said they’re contacting season ticket holders impacted. Would assume the only time the pitch and floodlights could be updated would be pre-season so should be ready for the start too.
 
Why do they keep banging on about the Roker End as our iconic home stand. Home end has always been the north. That said the rest of the improvements proposed will improve the matchday experience for everyone .
 
They really should have made the North Stand the “proper” home end again.

This would have allowed around 5,000 safe-standing spaces to be installed in the Lower section. The larger number of standing spaces would have helped create an even better noise.

No, YOU can hear it fine. There's plenty of other parts of the stadium (including my old season ticket seat in the South Stand) where you couldn't hear it well at all.
