SoL To Undergo Multi-Million-Pound Investment Programme

Always found it a bit odd why people kick off about the PA system like. It works fine and you can hear what you need to hear

Be complaining it’s too loud next season

Whole thing is a positive……dropped in just before the season ticket renewals are due
The PA needs muting when Frankie is on the MIC, Absolutely horrendous.

Do we need new floodlight?

The rest is great news and glad we are taking this summer to do the pitch so we can have concerts the next
Prob new floodlights energy efficient and save a few quid. If the PA is a bit rubbish not the end of the world if floodlights go out FA / EFL will not be happy if game was cancelled. SoL needs a lot of maintenance better to replace lighting now than wait for problems which seems to be the normal thing at safc now. Hoping that extra lighting that was brought in for Sky hd will be part of the normal floodlights and wont be needed.

All welcome news.

Shame there's nothing about improving the concourses, but the main factor there is the lack of space which it's difficult to see what they can do much about.
They could put tent-type extensions on the side of the ground to increase the capacity?

Wouldn't put it past them to announce this as its the only positive spin they can give at SC renewal time. Then sell up in the summer before anything gets done or spent. I'll believe when I see it, simple as that. I sincerely hope my cynicism is proved unfounded!

To be honest the lights and tanoy stuff will be part of the safety certificate with a soupcon of saving money on energy bills...the 5g bit is just what any venue should have and if i was a betting man this safe standing milarky will be less than 500 seats......I would have preferred if they had been honest and said the stadium has been left to rot by previous owners and we are starting a comprehensive period of refurbishment to bring the stadium back into the 20th century never mind the 21st!.. A good clean ,a paint and a general tart up would be a start thats long overdue........one can only hope they will fix the hand driers in the bogs but i think that will be phase 2..I will wait and see but it looks like smoke and mirrors to me and is it a coincidence that the notes from the supporters meeting havent been released yet..... Anything that improves our stadium is great but i would like to see a breakdown of the works in more detail and it is renewal of season card time ;)

People think they're hilarious and clever mate. They can't just see something positive for what it is.
I mean I welcome the news but it doesn’t massively effect my “matchday experience” the NW corner isn’t too bad imo the biggest issue with the day is watching that shite atm 🤣
