SOL expansion

Yet thousands queue for the entire half time period (and before) to buy pish beer and cold fries with congealed curry sauce on top.
These sales are probably at a maximum.
So what financial incentive is there for the club to do this?
All I remember from Roker kiosks (I was about 9 years old) was a tasteless mince pie and a bottle of villa pop, that’s as much as they had for bairns, it might be bad now but not that bad!

Here you go -

There were 6 - my mistake. So we were 7th - thats on the entire European continent. Unbelievable that. Makes a mockery on say X of fans, especially the mags taking the piss out of our attendances.

Look at some of the stadium capacities - Hertha Berlin!!!

Correct.
And all 6 of those clubs sold season tickets at less than half the price of ours.

Where do we stand world wide?

Shocked theres 6 clubs in German not in the top flight gettting over 40k a week tbh

Not sure worldwide. But given some of the shite attendances in say Argentina (clearly one of the top footballing nations in the world)I would bet a pound to a penny that there are none there. Brazil is a big country so there might be one club that say falls on hard time eg Corinthians that may beat us.

As for Germany, I'd agree with you; absolutely outstanding attendances there mind.

but the fact that we are asking a question about where we stand in the world second tiers just shows you what a huge compliment it is to our fans and club that we are in amongst it.

There’s some massive clubs in that league at the moment. Two have just been promoted and that will mean the attendance levels next season are a bit more typical. But clubs like Schalke are massive, even if they have been badly run over the last few years.

We don’t need an increase in seating capacity but from an income standpoint and especially non-football related income we need to improve the stadiums facility.

First years money from the Champions League should be earmarked.

In my view the stadium is the right size. We rarely, if ever, sell out completely.

The place looks better full than with empty seats.

We should focus on building a great squad not on expanding a great environment.

We’d surely have to have 3/4 year of PL football selling out before it’s seriously considered. No chance before
