I can see ours being up to 50m. I think these 100m+ jobs are more for historical grounds. Ours should be easier and cheaper£100mill for 12k stand Aston Villa

yep I would go with that around £50mill costI can see ours being up to 50m. I think these 100m+ jobs are more for historical grounds. Ours should be easier and cheaper
But that’s extending an old ground, ours was built with extending in mind, would be nowhere near those costs
I haven't got an issue with Banks, but thet seem to have enough capacity to satisfy demand for that short of top end product. That was what I meant. There’s only 10 seats left in banks. 3 weeks before a game.
They’ve sold 65.
That’s nearly 43k for one game. Plus whatever people spend on top.
They’ll probably shift that 10. Or close to it.
Season tickets over one game for 65 seats works out around £1,500 with rough maths or £23 a ticket.
Even if they don’t sell the remains 10 seats it’s a huge money maker.
The obsession with needing to sell every seat in the house needs to stop when it comes to hospitality.
You can’t get in Monty’s, Quinn’s, Riverview, Buisness lounge.
I agree on offering more tiers of hospitality, which is only really possible with expansion.
I agree.I think the club should be looking at finding room for more Founders club type “entry level” hospitality.
The sort that supporters who want a little bit more (but not the big corporate packages) would be happy paying a premium for.
they are returned ticketsCurrently tickets available for Brentford.
Just saying![]()
He knars that man.they are returned tickets
though tbf more premier concourse tickets have appearedHe knars that man.stirring
Strange that like... and £48though tbf more premier concourse tickets have appeared
Obviously there needs to be tiers and variety to cater and you wouldn’t want to copy. There's no point doing a South Stand version of 76 Yards unless it's competitively priced as we can't fully sell that level of product as it stands.
Some cracking seats too. Why do they hold them back?Currently tickets available for Brentford.

The other thing I’d say is 76 imo is massively affected by away fans being above them.I haven't got an issue with Banks, but thet seem to have enough capacity to satisfy demand for that short of top end product. That was what I meant.

Boxes sell well so they'll sell and make money. For the rest of the space, it's probably going to have to be a lot cheaper and that might hit sales at 76 Yards.
No doubt they've thought of this though.
I agree.
The logical thing would be to make it really good and then most would move from 76 Yards. Then 76 Yards could be a cheaper option.Obviously there needs to be tiers and variety to cater and you wouldn’t want to copy.
Do you think? It never bothered me at all.The other thing I’d say is 76 imo is massively affected by away fans being above them.

It was never a problem when it was the BCB. I upgraded a few times for special occasions and it didn’t bother me. There is no way I would pay £180 now for access to a bar and a pie though, and it appears that many feel the same way. I’m all for more corporate, but it has to be value for money and not ripping off ordinary fans who would like a bit of an upgrade. The other thing I’d say is 76 imo is massively affected by away fans being above them.
We do seem to have miss priced things a tad. We’ve went high which I remember posting at the time saying we’d struggle to shift those as that’s a lot of money even for premier league football this is Sunderland after all. Like you say we don’t offer the midrange premium I guess they think they do but it’s again priced high for what it is.We’re already seeing it on a smaller scale. We have seats at £180 which have failed to sell for the next match - all you get for that is access to a bar and a pie as well as a padded seat. Also the £570 tickets aren’t shifting which is the Michelin starred chef venture. I think our problem at the moment is there is no decent lower range hospitality options at a reasonable price.
I did notice on the video of your first game posted by Fusion Josh, where there were empty seats directly behind him in the hospitality section. I bet there were loads who would’ve given their right arm for one of those seats at a decent price.
Major empty seats clearly could not add up.
I don’t mean it’s the only reason. It was never a problem when it was the BCB. I upgraded a few times for special occasions and it didn’t bother me. You have missed the context of my post.Where were the major empty seats against West Ham?
