SOL expansion

I visited the SOL a few days after our home game against Norwich last season and that whole tunnel/dug our area was full of the rubbish people had left behind in the stands.

Think we’d all agree that those changes look very smart, let’s have a bit of personal pride and keep it that way.
Definitely need a way to stop people just dumping their waste in the stands. Not sure what it is - normal approach would be to provide bins but not obvious how/where without impacting on walkways etc.

Have they done anything with the premier concourse/north west upper, or have they only done out the lower bowl?

Could they not just give the stewards some bin bags and have them collect rubbish from people as they’re walking about?

Nowt worse than watching us on telly and there’s a tornado of Quavers and carrier bags swirling around the pitch.

Said it before on here that I’m positive it’s those two huge access tunnels facing each other in the North and South Stands that play a big part in this. It’s no coincidence that the rubbish gathers and swirls bang in the middle of them in front of the dugouts and you don’t see it anywhere else. SOL is perched on top of a windy hill as well. Obviously the root cause is still people and it wouldn’t happen if people didn’t litter, but I think there’s more to it due to geography and stadium design. Must be a lot blows in from outside.

Theyve improved it. Remember in the early days when rubbish used to swirl on the pitch?

Gary Lineker absolutely loved it (rubbish jokes)

I know its a minor gripe but who the hell did the pointing for the bricks at both sides of the doors Stevie bloody wonder, yozza hughes or or a mag ..what a shameful job and the foreman should be given a stiff talking to!Just look above the doors to see proper pointing!
It's not a minor gripe at all, it looks shit and needs addressing, can't tell from the photo though whether it just needs a good brick clean or redoing completely
