Awful in what way?
East stand is dilapidated and the concourse is awful.

Gallowgate concourse is decent.

Main stand, lower is poor, very tight and awful facilities. Platinum club needs updating, boxes are good.

Level 7, concourse good, view god awful.

Leazes Stand - Shite concourse, especially lower tier.

Weighing it up, the Stadium of Light, as a stadium if far superior, it's not even close at the moment.

Will cut out the need for any middle men! One of the host cities is in guadalajara which I'm sure is where there was that ridiculous violence where they were stripping people naked and pounding lifeless bodies. Sure that was all cartel members. Don't think you'd be getting too many cocky england fans there!
Europe's hardest fear nobody.🤪

Add to this, the view from the top of the Gallowgate is shite.

Very disappointing to see the SOL hasn't been chosen considering it's a near 50k stadium with some of the best facilities around. It has put me off the Euros 2028 tbh.

Villa Park was chosen and only holds 42k and it's a dated stadium. Also that lopsided mess is also dated and there's a good reason concerts are chosen to be held at the SOL instead.

It’s getting a major refurb mate. I think capacity is being increase to well over 50k

When you say the SOL has some of the best facilities around? We're not in the best 10 UK stadiums now, so no surprise we haven't been shortlisted.
