I was just about to post something similar. I'm a big fan of Ronnie and can understand why some people dislike him but this playing on that he has been doing the last few weeks is terrible to watch.

Its fair enough, Alex Higgins used to do it a fair bit if he felt he needed to get his arm in.
Basically making his opponent and the television audience watch him practice. During the NI Open he was openly saying he did this instead of using the practice table during intervals. There's keeping your arm warm and there's taking the piss.

I notice a lot of the Chinese players don't keep their chalk in the pocket but leave it on the side of the table like I do myself.
