Sniffing round Reggie…

Another good year and he will get poached imp.

His style of play is probably too pragmatic for the bigger clubs. I could see any of the top Italian or French clubs being interested though.

The arrogance of the football pundits and FA will continue to overlook him no doubt mate so I’m not too concerned. Let’s keep doing our thing under the radar, the fact he didn’t win the manager of the season award says so much about the arrogance of the league.
Yeah, it should have been such a simple decision.....similar to that signing of the season award.

If we continue with footballing wise with the style of play we played the last 3 games of the season next season, finish around mid table and go far in the Europa his name will start getting mentioned all over!

12 months time.

TBH it wouldn’t surprise me if the owners and RLB review where we’re at next summer regardless (whether that’s the current owners or a new hierarchy).

Look how long it took for the likes of Thomas Frank, Iraola, Glasner etc to perform well enough to get attention from bigger clubs. Le Bris will no doubt be on the radar of a few but not close to being approached yet imo.

If we were to do really well in the Europa league and finish in a similar league position again people will start to take more notice (or even win a cup)

This. Can see Man U needing a manager again in the next 12-18 months. Not sure he would fit how they want to play football though.

I could understand it if he got approached by a CL club tbh. I'd be very disappointed if he left here to go to somewhere like Fulham/Palace/Bournemouth though.

I know they've all been reasonable, steady PL clubs and Bournemouth just had a great season, but as a football club we're billion miles bigger than them with far more potential.

Imagine leaving the atmosphere of the SOL and 48000, to go and go and manage a club with a 16000 capacity.
They leave for money, simple as that.

Teams above us aren't going to want Le Bris, they all want a very specific style. Arteta might be getting more agricultural with Arsenal but if he had started like that he'd have been out on his arse.
Agreed. If we see the play develop like we are seeing signs of over the last 5 games or so, perhaps there will be more interest next summer if we have another good season. But I agree for now, "bigger/CL" teams won't want his style of play

Atm I think there’s still a false perception that we play ugly but effective football, so I can see Big 6 clubs passing on him even though we play good football.

Liverpool sacked slot because he turned them from an exciting, physical and aggressive side into a slow, boring team that barely scraped CL football. Most other teams will be looking to upgrade to a manager that matches their style so with a bit of luck that means ignoring RLB and focusing on their shopping list
The reverse irony as after the first nine games RLB took us from second to mid table as a slow boring team which otherwise could have been playing champions league football.

With 3 games to go we showed our real potential.

Imagine what we could have achieved without " the professor " holding us back
