Coming down heavy in West Hartlepool. Son was in Bedale yesterday had to get a tow off a 4x4. Off road working at a farm said it was a foot deep in places. Got onto main road hit a pot hole knaxked the front axle and burst tyre. Axle bust.
Called RAC estimated wait of 6 hours. Abandons van and got a lift home.

I was up at the stables in Seaton at the time and nearly crapped myself. The flash of lightning was amazing then the clap of thunder almost immediately after was a tad loud. First time I've ever experienced thunder snow, scary stuff.

One thing I learnt from it, important life lesson, if a rabidly angry neighbour points an automatic pistol at me, I will not further inflame the situation with "Go ahead, do it mother f***Er" as he might have set his trigger pull a little lightUS is mental.
