Keiron - one of the lads I know who has stopped playing for Hylton ( opening bowler and a bat ) would like the game to see if he can then go on and perhaps play for Houghton.
Only issue may be he's a bit of a cockernee and supports Chelsea.

What's the crack with this game.
Could someone advise if:
A) If its a home or away game or a joint game as we both play at Houghton?
B) Will there be umpires (doubt it)?
C) Will there be a requirement to put food on, if so are we sorting it out or are they?
D) What match fees will be required?
E) Is the groundsman aware of the game?
F) If Andy is to be the opening wonder bowler?

A) yes its a home game for us (Andy should have it booked in
)B) Yes there will be one paid umpire (one of the first team will do it without any cheating)
C) we are putting food on, if someone wants to make some sandwiches up that would be a big help
D) £3 each player from each team required to cover teas and the umpire.

A) Home for us. Already booked in.
B) 1 Umpire. Batting team to provide square leg.
C) Teas to be provided by home team - us. I will make some sandwiches but need help with other aspects e.g. Cakes/Sausage Rolls etc.
D) £3 a head.
E) Yes Jimmy is aware.
F) That's the captains call. If I get picked and the captain puts me fine leg/3rd man both ends for the whole 40 overs then so be it.
