What A Waster

Striker
Lost Magpie

Good Dog Nigel

Arf, Arf, he goes, a merry sight
Our little hairy friend
Arf, Arf, upon the lampost bright
Arfing round the bend.
Nice dog! Goo boy,
Waggie tail and beg,
Clever Nigel, jump for joy
Because we are putting you to sleep at three of the clock, Nigel.

That is a short poem by John Lennon.
I love it.

The tale of a lifelong Sunderland supporter hitting 80 years of age: (Or Tennyson's Ulysses if you must be pedantic)

Tho' much is taken, much abides; and tho'
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Beans beans good for the heart
The more you eat the more you fart
So let's have beans for every meal

Kilpling I believe
