SMB fixtures lost

Upto now weve lost 3 fixtures which have cost us almost a hundred quid in potential money collected. It looks like we could loose another three before the end of july which isnt good.

Ideally we need to get these fixtures re-arranged but its going to be difficult with the cup runs and the exxex tour. Anybody got any ideas ?

Mick man. Any games that have been cancelled due to Houghton games or rained off will be re-arranged. If it means we have to play 2 games in a week then we will have to play 2 games in a week.

1. The game vs RWE which was rained off on the 22/6 has now been provisionally arranged for Monday 25th July.
2. The game vs Engineers which previously hadn't been arranged has been pencilled in at FELLING for August 9th.
3. The game vs CES (new name for EAGA) which was due to be played this Thursday now looks to be played on a Tuesday at GOSFORTH sometime in the future but still to be confirmed.
4. The final game vs RWE (which clashes with the Essex Tour I believe) I'd still want to keep. I don't see any reason why we couldn't get a team out even with players being away.
 
At the start of the season we struggled a bit yes but since then we have had people finish exams - Andy P and Matty (who may well fancy playing again), we've gotten some new people - Dale, Will and Scott while there are posters who would make themselves available if we're short - Stephen and David. Then you have the people who are regulars or regular-ish who aren't going to Essex - you, me, Butsy, Stew etc. And then we have the Houghton juniors who are always up for a game. But if the general opinion is we couldn't get a team out then I will cancel but free dates are few and far between now.

I should be ok for 25th, get back from Germany on 24th so will be pretty rough after a week on the piss but will give it a go.
 
Were struggling to get 11 at the minute when we have 2 fixtures in one week. you have no chance of getting 3 full teams. get them booked for early august.

This. Mind I think the issue is that Houghton have a stack of midweek fixtures.
