SMB Film Thread 2026

I thought the same
A Clockwork Orange 1971 1/10
Started to watch it for the first time Friday night, lasted about an hour. Complete load of shite. Looks like it was made by people on drugs for people on drugs. I'll file that with The Warriors, massively overrated, hasn't aged well and complete dogshit
I’ve started it a couple of times and never finished it. Didn’t make it past the rape scene.

Watched ‘One Life’ on BBC iplayer

Enjoyed it had a bit dust in my eyes a few times. 😉

London broker Nicholas "Nicky" Winton helps rescue hundreds of predominantly Jewish children from Czechoslovakia in a race against time before the Nazi occupation closes the borders. Fifty years later, he's still haunted by the fate of those he wasn't able to bring to safety.

Bone Tomahawk (2015)

Cannibal film with Kurt Russell, overly long and not a lot happens in the first half. Some gruesome parts, but a bit meh.

5/10

I can’t see me going to the pictures ever again.

I’ll just wait till it’s on Netflix, prime or whatever.

I like to concentrate on a film and be absorbed by it.

I don’t want sit in front of Fat Barbara and her mate who noisily eat things and talk about their cystitis.

People seem to be incapable of shutting their fat ugly faces for Two hours

Last time we went to the cinema there were about 4 other people in. Got cracking seats and not crunch could be heard or a phone screen lighting up.

It blows my mind that they sell f@cking popcorn at the cinema - I had to watch the latest quiet place with some priock crunching that the entire time....most of the film is silent. I usualyy work out where to sit based on how far I can be from everyone else

It's how they make money.

The Hitcher (2007)

Sean Bean rather than Rutger Hauer

I quite like it.

Got awful reviews & obviously not as good as the original but it's got Sophia Bush looking hot in it man.

One for the wankbank her being all moany & whiny
