SMB team for Sunday. Suggest we meet at 1:00 - apparently we're doing a darts and pool comp against the BA if it's rained off! Need a volunteer to not bat (pref not one of the main ones as we may need to get a few to win) and someone to not field on the day. We will be doing retire on 40/50, 5 overs max per bowler.

1. Hutch
2. Beefy73
3. Eddy Finn
4. Live In Hope
5. NorthCountryBoy (c)
6. Jack
7. Pkhap
8. Macrowners
9. Craigy Lee
10. Wackyjacky
11. Pattisoni
12. Dumpling (wk)

Scorer: Aleem Dar

good luck with this lads

well with myself being mint at batting and in the form of my life.

Just to make the game fair on the Barmy Army lads i'll not bat.

I'm in Ireland today but hear its lashing down back home.

Have spoken to Phil the BA captain and if the rain clears we're confident this should still be on.

According to bbcweather its going to rain again from 6pm till 3am but from then on its going to be very warm so should dry.

P.S Is the bar open tomorrow? (The Duck) Someone said it was closed tomorrow

It will be open, they'll be hoping to make a lot tomorrow. Got a burger van there too.

Good day at the charity game. Thanks to all the lads for giving the bairn the opportunity to officiate and looking after him. It was a great experience for him.

You can see my pint of scotch* in that photo, but not me - I must have just popped off for a piss [or been looking for the lost ball].

Was it you who came back later looking for your lense cap?

* Fittingly enough, I later won a bottle of scotch in the raffle.

Aye, Cracking day out. A big thank you to everyone who helped organise the day, thanks to the Barmy Army for travelling up from all over. Thanks to the two umpires Dione and Harry,( hope Harry learned a few new words today!!)

I hope a good amount of money was raised in Georges memory for a very worthy cause and lets hope this can become an annual event.

Cracking effort lads, any scorecards? Heard rouza batted well. Gutted I couldn't play

He had a nightmare in the field, he thought he was Murali with his bent arm deliveries plus every time the ball was thrown at him he dropped it.
I think the big crowd got to him!
