we'll be entering the Felling League to steal RWEs crown /QUOTE]

:lol: - the trophy is from the old Northern Electric's Interdepartmental Cricket League so it would be like The Ashes - you win it but don't get to keep the prize !

it wouldn't be if we removed ourselves from the 2over league

RWE thinking of doing the same due to some 'mediocre' opposition - not you lads btw, so more games in the Vic Halom League might not be a bad thing. However, the advantage of the 2 over league is it's a gentle introduction for new or ex cricketers and everyone gets involved.

that is my opinion as well the cup final this year was over as a contest after 4overs. Depends really how many new players we get in as like you say its good for them.

I like the two over league, proper team game.
I've never been that keen, mainly due to the fact that I cannot bowl to save my life!!
The second fact is that the smb team I think has outgrown that league( this is only my opinion mind) and I think the team would get more from playing proper 20 over cricket(as in no 2 over bowler and retire on 25 thing).

this and add to the fact its difficult to keep everyone happy compared to a normal 20/20 game

Each team, bar Kibblesworth, has recieved an e-mail. Nothings set in stone until I know what the majority want. For example, Andy Lewis said he might struggle to get teams out until July so they'd prefer fewer games I'd imagine. I think from a playing point of view I'd prefer 1 division, 7 games, and a cup. Organising it would be easier as well.

But as it is, I don't think my e-mails are working as I can see it in the sent folder but no-ones replied. :-x

Sorry for not getting back mate will run it past our some of the lads and our youngn when he is home at the weekend

RWE didn't get one, so I think you're right your emails aren't working.
