Smallest Town or City

Just reading the Gibraltar thread make me think how good it would be to see a club from a small town or provincial location within England win the league. Which then got me thinking which is the club from the smallest town or city to have won the English league. Anyone know?

I ain't got a clue, but apparently Glossop in Derbyshire is the smallest ever to have a top flight team

And I also noted that villareal in Spain only have a population of 50,000 people and hoffenheim in Germany is a tiny village with only 3000 people

Burnley
The town of Burnley hasn't even got its own postcode. It has a Blackburn postcode, which must piss the Clarets off.
Blackburn isn't big either mind...
A666 joins them
Road to hell
