Slot sacked.

Looked well out of his depth this season, think the title win was still very much on Klopps legacy
Not saying he looked great but for me a lot of the blame has to go on the players, even if the manager is telling them to play a terrible formation and not score surely some self worth kicks in and you just say lets ignore him and play like we know we can. Salah has been walking around like an upset teenager for months, Robertson looked like he shouldn't be in the Championship never mind the champions League when he played. The players and fans wanted him out and they've got their wish, you'll never walk alone my arse, the clubs been toxic for months and it cant all be down to the manager.

It’s the right call for me, Liverpool’s collapse in points from last season to this was even one more than Wolves.

I do wonder if the club wished they had backed Salah more now. I’m excited to watch them under Iraola. All the talk of him going to Milan, Leverkusen or palace was obviously BS, was always going to be Liverpool.

Unless Liverpool have made this decision hastily to get their hands on Iraola.

One of Liverpool’s main issues was giving Salah another contract. He’s been poor this season but the club gave in to fan pressure.

Have to disagree. Iraola is a very good manager. Time will tell though...
He had looked a good manager at a 'small' club, its a huge gamble for Liverpool as this squad is nowhere near good enough with the attitude they have, plus a world cup in the legs to be challenging for titles and thats what Liverpool fans expect no matter what they will say, they want attacking exciting football and challenging for titles now. If it is Iraola Bournemouth better rinse Liverpool for any players he comes back for.

Surprised they didn’t make a move for Alonso then
I have a feeling they’ve done it so late so they don’t face a fans backlash for not appointing him. Have a feeling they’ve done don’t fancy him, maybe he’d carry too much power with fans against the board etc.

Iraola seems the perfect fit, plays good football too.

It's definitely a tough job and their players have underperformed this season. They should only ever be a handful of points off the top though...their squad is good enough to be.

I think Jota and Diaz have both been big misses for them and the players that replaced them just aren't as good.
