Slot - could he be in trouble?

I think the loss of Jota had messed a lot of their heads up tbh. He would have been a friend to many there.
Their form was poor at the back end of last season when he was alive
Absolutely, I'm not just saying that for obvious reasons and I can also see why you disagree, just the positions he could play, plus I'd say a more natural finisher nd footballer
Isak was overrated by the mags but he was better than Jota easily

It was a tragedy for all concerned when it happened but I find it difficult to believe the whole team has been and continues to be stricken down by this event months after. A club like that would have grief counselling gurus and psychologists on tap.
The cynic in me might suggest it is a convenient crutch on which to lean, so I won’t suggest that

To be fair to the Liverpool players, I don’t think they’re the ones raising the topic. The amount of times this season presenters and interviewers have been on the pitch bandying the poor lad’s name around is pathetic.

Asking Salah if that’s why he scored a late goal, asking Slot if that’s why the team is underperforming, asking Van Dijk if that’s why they kept a clean sheet. It’s the story they want, and they’re not averse to being tactless and disrespectful to force it into being.

Don’t use Van Dijk as a good example. He just runs around point, when he’s not trying to win a basketball tip off

“Overrated by the Mags” …… yet one of Europes most powerful & famous football clubs breaks their transfer record for him. Pays a fee that is amongst the biggest ever. All for a player the Mags overrated?
I think, as a minimum, it was the Mags AND Liverpool who overrate Isak. Obviously he was one of the best strikers in Europe last season. You don’t need to be particularly shrewd to see that.

The short term nature of modern football is, quite frankly, pathetic.

I can’t stand Liverpool but just trust the bloke, let him get on with his job and it will come right.

Maybe place some accountability with the players.
The recruitment was daft in the summer, when they won the league they could be got at at the back but soent a fortune elsewhere. The lazy signing of the lad from Bournemouth too never made much sense. They are so weak at the back now vvd looks every bit a year older and sitting on a new comfy new contract. Just need to spend another £100-150m on defenders man 😂

He'll get a pass for this season based on his achievement in the last one. Cannit understand why strengthened up front in the summer mind, that's the most youthful part of their team.

A sign of them being crap is they're only 3 pts off a CL place. A sign of us punching above our weight is exactly the same.

We don’t know how much of that was Slots doing though.
