Slot - could he be in trouble?

He's ended the game with Jones at RB and gravenbach at CB it's on him
Pretty simplistic view like.

Liverpool haven’t played well at all this season. Even in the opening five games which they won, they were not convincing at all.

They are, quite understandably not going to try and hide behind or talk publicly about the Jota tragedy being a factor but quite clearly, Salah is nowhere near at it. Virgil looks bewildered. Robertson spoke last week about it while on Scotland duty. They are a club in a very strange place9.

And the add to that they had a mini squad overhaul planned before the tragedy and I think these new players have found it hard both in a football sense but maybe also coming into a very strange situation.

I think you have to give them a year to reset and refocus. Qualify for the champions league and go again. That’s just my take on it.

Disjointed team, manager floundering about and none of the team are happy campers. Can even see vvd is losing faith and just getting pissed off more game by game

What happened to Jota can explain why everyone who played with him is struggling, but not why everyone they’ve signed has been awful.
Slot's hanging by the thinnest of thread's. If he is still there when we rock up and we put in a performance...

The kind of opportunity we have been good at making the most of lately. We capitalised on West Ham, Forest & Villa’s woes. Hopefully we can do it again.

Not trying to belittle or disparage grief, but how long can you use this as a reason? Months? A year? Years? I don’t think it’s a reason to be so far below the level as they currently are.

Losing someone you're close to can affect you for a long time, especially when it's brought up during every game around the 20-minute mark.

I know a few people who have given up their careers after losing someone close to them and realising just how quickly things can change and that work isn't all that important.

I get that and I get that it affects people in all manner of different ways, but they won 5 on the spin at the start, beat Real Madrid. Andy Robertson used it to qualify for a World Cup. It only rears its head when they lose. So whilst I have every sympathy for what they’re going through on a personal level, I’m not seeing it as the main reason.

They have highly trained sport therapists working alongside these professional sportsmen. . I'm sure they can be taught about having to bracket loss.

2x 3 goal defeats on the trot at home is serious shite. The wheels look like they've completely come off. They are still getting plenty of the ball and ample opportunities but they aren't scoring many and look extremely vulnerable at the back.

Big decision coming up for the Liverpool head honchos. They can't afford not to qualify for the Champions League.

Aye they won the 1st game in the 88th minute against Bournemouth, then 100th against mags, 83rd against Arsenal and 95th minute pen against Burnley. It could have been so much worse if not for those 4 late winners

Another decent spend in January, that defence needs surgery and the midfield needs some creativity too.
The forward line they are stuck with as I doubt they'd dare spend more money there

Fully expect them to begin unsettling centre halfs in the run up to the window

They've already got a world cup winning midfielder and one who they've paid over a £100M for. I can't imagine they'll be spending a lot more as the coffers will be pretty dry after there large summer splurge.

They picked up points at the start, but they haven't looked convincing in any game this season, except for the odd spell in some games and in the game against Real Madrid. Real Madrid aren't all that either, they won tonight, but conceded three to Olympiacos.

It was Scotland who qualified for the World Cup mate, not just Andy Robertso, and he hasn't featured much for Liverpool this season either.

I'd be looking to see if there were any disaster planning in place, if I was a Director.

Indeed. Point being they haven’t been right at all since the summer. People can draw their own conclusions but what happened simply has to have had an affect on the whole club, and in particular the players.
