Slot - could he be in trouble?


He was talking after the game about how last season they scored from a set-piece and then defended well for the rest of the game. Isn’t that what he’s been criticising other teams for doing against them this season ?

RLB seems like a genuine hard working bloke but the way we play now compared to last season, notwithstanding the chasm in speed, player quality etc, there needs to be acknowledgment of his 2 key assistants, Vulcano and Madi. These 2 were appointed by Speakman with ( I understand ) some urging from Ghisolfi.
Our players almost have that 21st century dogs of war you lot had under Kendall and later with Joe Royal. Never stop running, never say die, fight tooth and nail for every ball and yard of territory.
It’s a complete transformation from last season
I suppose RLB has to knit it all together and have final say on selection and tactics but I believe it’s far from a 1 man show.
If Slot were to be pedalled they would move heaven and earth to get Klopp back and after 2 seasons away Ithink he would return. He must miss it

Looking more and more that he lucked out on the title due to Klopps squad and that City had an off year. They’ve been dreadful since March time and he’s spent about 250m on two attackers who cant buy a goal between them. It’s hilarious

They’ve lost the title already as no team loses 5 at this stage and goes on to win it. City at a canter
