ECB will no doubt point to low viewing figures when they come round to binning this off even though it’s hardly ever shown and compare it with h*ndred viewing figures which sky push and push. All part of the plan no doubt.

It seems odd that Sky or the ECB allow streaming of other games that are played at the same time as one that's live on Sky.
Cricket fans are always going to choose to watch their own county so that will have an impact on Sky's viewing figures for the live game.
Ot doesn't make sense unless that's a part of the plan for T20 to be ditched in favour of the hundred.

I can imagine that there will have been views from around the world, but for me it's the frustration that there's an audience out there yet sky's coverage and promotion of the competition has been non-existent
I cannot get away with woman’s sports other than the likes of tennis and athletics. I know that upsets people on here in terms of what I like and what I don’t, but I find ladies cricket and football absolutely garbage and sky are ramming it down our throats.
I just don’t watch, if they want to show them it’s no problem for me but I choose not to watch.

Just say it as it is mate and don’t care what the nutters think. Women’s sport is utter garbage. I want to watch sport played at the highest possible level. Watching a female cricketer steam in and bowl a ball at 60mph isn’t for me.
But would you advocate that woman’s sport should not be shown at all?
personally I don’t have a problem but I choose not to watch. I don’t have a problem with it be shown for those that do enjoy to watch

The viewing figures don't warrant it live every night.
The maximum viewers for a game on Sky had 2.4k viewers.
YouTube for the same game was 1.6k watching.for free.
The counties make more from local adverts on Youtube.
It's very niche.
A bit like Paralympics.
They get some viewers.

Given that a 6.30 start is 11pm in India I wouldn't have thought that many?
