Sir Bob Mortimer

The thing with Bob Mortimer is that he’s just naturally funny. He doesn’t tell jokes or sprinkle his chat with erudite witticisms. He just says stuff like “my friend Tony who was a short fella, so we called him Shetland Tony” and it’s funny, and you know it’s true and it has fuck all to do with whatever story he’s telling but he’s just amusing.

He's coming back as champion in last one laughing...I don't see how anyone else can win, I laugh just looking at him

If you try to sum up humour or why we laugh, it's pretty much impossible, but Judi Love completely losing it cos Sir Bob sat down next to her & the chair made a slight cracking noise is fundamentally why he's funny. All he did was look at her...

Never watched that but saw that clip and it was very funny

I’ve read bobs book, and watched him on TV for ever and just have the feeling that in real life, away from the lights and cameras, he is a sad bloke.

The classic tears of a clown.

Just my personal opinion.
