100 per cent correct,this is exactly the signing needed if Patto is staying.Just someone to hold the fort until Youngy gets another solid season out on loan.

If Patto goes like I’d love to just pull the plaster off and toss the lad in though. The more preseason goes the more it feels like next season will be more treading water and I’d rather see more of our own given a shot one crumb of comfort has been seeing young lads play the past season.
Yes I know what you mean,but I think it could be a lot worse than just treading water next season.Which if we chuck Youngy in could result in him needing psychiatric treatment and ruin him.So like you I think we have a diamond in Young think a loan will bring him up to readiness this time next summer

Weird decision if you do take him.
Can't fault his character or the person behind the player.
We got him from Sheffield United and his first season was a cracker. Some faux pas but overall a great asset. Then something happened and the first few games of the 22/23 season (our playoff season), he screwed up badly, lost confidence and was replaced by Ben Wilson who went on to excel (and score) that season and Moore was benched. He came back in for the FA Cup game against Wrexham in Jan 23, we lost embarrassingly and he's never played since. When we bought Brad Collins from Barnsley last season, Moore dropped to third choice so hasn't played at all for the last 18 months.
Talk is that he's currently doing or has just completed his coaching badges so could be on the path towards management.

Correct. And a player with career experience will help Patto as well more than a player who isn't as good and without any experience (Bishop)
