Simon Adingra 🇨🇮 Signed!

He wasn’t as bad as folk make out but it was the right feel to take him off.
Yes, he was a threat, roasted their defenders a few time, but he's just not suited to what we needed today which was a winger who could drop and help the defence. That's not his game, I don't know why people blame him, it was the tactics that let us down today.

We’ve signed some poor attacking players. We all know that. The defence and midfield is decent going forward we look clueless.
I wouldn't say "poor" but we need to strengthen in January or next summer.
Talbi is a great talent, very good defensively and attacking, but might be his age and lack of experience that prevented him from scoring until now (he's 20, let's not forget that).
Adingra was a reserve at Brighton and he's not suited to the way we play, we demand our wingers to drop back often and that's just not his game, Brighton fans told us this. He might be lethal if he picks up form but with Reinildo at LB and with Sadiki helping there, not away with Masuaku at LB.
Traore is decent for the money we paid, good find for a backup player.
Our next target should be getting an expensive goalscoring winger - too bad we missed out on Lauriente, he might have been the solution for a decent fee.

Our wingers aren’t great like. Talbi is good defensively but offers nout going forward. Adingra has struggled to get in the side ahead of a central midfielder. Traore missed a sitter today and then decided to have a dive.

I’d like to see Talbi left and Traore right. Adingra isn’t good enough, but we need to address both sides in January.

Reality is it could catch us out still. I think we need a 1st team winger added in January as a priority. Our lack of attacking threat from out wide makes it so difficult to hurt teams

Aye he's not gonna get a game if he's not involved already. He'll drop to champ or abroad

He's a 23 year old bought for around £20m. In what world is he going to play in the championship. It's a squad game and he could quite easily work his way into the starting XI.

Theres posts on this board today advocating selling or loaning out half of our team. Not sure what world some people are living in.

Oh it's definitely this one but I'm sure there's a glue shortage
great to see Pure Football has found it's latest boo boy
It was Traore for a few weeks until he scored. So nailed on Adingra scores a worldie shortly.

We were potentially going to get him last Jan to be fair as part of the Watson deal, it'd be a surprise if he did go to the champo but maybe not out of the question.

To be fair, the poster was talking about the summer if things stay as they are.

he’s not playing. He wasn’t playing regularly at Brighton either. If he’s not getting into those teams he’s going to have to look abroad or step down.

His fee has nothing to do with it. Didier ndong signed at a similar age and a couple of years later he was playing in ligue 2.

Yes, but what people are missing is that it's a squad game, especially if we progress in either of the cups. If we start loaning players like Adingra out then we are only a few injuries / suspensions away from someone like Poveda playing. If he was frozen out and not making match day squads etc then I might be inclined to agree. He played 20 mins on Saturday - so it's clear that he is in RLB's plans to some degree.

Le Bris first and foremost likes hard working players and Adingra doesn’t seem to bust a gut in the games he’s played. He’s probably been the only disappointment interms of our new signings for me.
