Silksworth Colliery Welfare

they still in wearside league?

Yes Wearside League. I watch them whenever I can (which is unfortunately only midweek games due to SAFC and other football on a weekend) as walkable from mine and good to have a non league club to "keep an eye on", even though all non league clubs are good to watch.

Went to Ford Quarry last night to watch then "away" at Durham Corinthians. They've started to get a bit of a younger following, was 3 kids with a Silksworth flag and drum last night

Surprised you can get past Donkins

Making their last game of the season (this Saturday) free entry. Also free pop and chocolate to those U16.

Fair play to them when clubs like that need all the money they can get

You going like ? We were looking for some non league action on Saturday

Not going to villa till Sunday morning

How much is a ST? Can you downgrade to a cheaper area if your financial circumstances alter?

Played a few games for Boldon Colliery Welfare back in the day. Even then - about 1976 - the pit had been closed a couple of years. Some tough bastards used to play back then.

Remember one lad going down cluthing his leg. Oh it's just cramp says another fellow. Grabs the leg and starts twisting the foot, the way he'd seen on the tele.

Lad had a broken ankle.
