right..and whats that got to do with the owners? club has a lot of employees? the
fanmzine people could just have read it off here..kin fact one the phrases they used..rischest club in the world..was used on here before anywhere else..
and things change.workd economy is fucked..safc is, like all footbsll clubs a cyclical business, and the economic cycle has gone into reverse..maybe they just changed their mind about the level of risk they want to take right now?
How do you know they aren’t interested in making interest?
secured against the assets of madrox..ie safc..ie if madrox dont pay the loan back..the amercians take over the ownership of safc..which is what you want anyway-them to own safc?
the americans know plenty about it..they did due diligence etc..
Dobson wasn't freeConsidering we spent a total of £0.00 in the transfer window, a fiver would be significant investment.
I get the message GOM ,your secrets safe with me!...... it does appear to be a strange deal and its hard to see whats in it for the yanks! And what will happen if they ask for their investment back?Nope.
I'm just waiting for more details. What we have so far is not a lot, although the capital restructuring is intriguing.
Let's just agree that you're coming at it from a position of complete ignorance. I bet it makes sense to them.I get the message GOM ,your secrets safe with me!...... it does appear to be a strange deal and its hard to see whats in it for the yanks! And what will happen if they ask for their investment back?
Shock horror, this absolute minge being negative.Investment, great but not with the current manager and owners......I can't see how it will be a success under this regime!
Intriguing in a positive sense or very negative sense ? I’m guessing the latter .....Nope.

We all wanted change and we are getting it ,wait and see what’s said in the morning from the club.I bet you there is a few twists and turns to this tale yet ..Call me a cynic or a lifetime sufferer of supporting Sunderland but why do I get the feeling something ain’t right about this ?
Intriguing in a positive sense or very negative sense ? I’m guessing the latter .....
So what's happened to this seasons? If its paying off legacy payments that can only be Grigg surely?but elkllis only took it over for a technical reaosn and wanted repayment..he woudknt have done it otherwise..if paying off sbc is something he wanted to do he would have done it much earlier..safc owed sbc..they wanyed paying quickly so ellis used his own cash and got reinbursed..he wouldnt have done it othwerwise..and we would have been left with the debt..safc benefitted from how the para money was spoent..these owners didnt.its that simple..depsite the torrent odf lies and slanders on here,..
depends who RR regard as a very good source..im sure tbey have more than the owners they considet ot be good sources..
They want what they've always wanted. This way they can put money down and wait.I know you've got to say it wasn't from the top, but it isn't fooling anyone. The lads at RR spoke regularly to Donald. They had "McGangbangs" with Donald, they had Donald on speed dial. But you don't think that, upon hearing about a potentially massive story regarding the club, they might text him to ask if there's any truth before they publish? It hardly matters now, most decent fans are delighted by the investment, but let's not pretend the fans are stupid. If RR had heard from anyone other than one of the owners they'd have checked with them before printing. Like I say things change, it's all seemingly worked out well, so no one really cares, but the fanzines were fed info from someone at or near the top, clear as day, no point even denying it now
I'm sure they want to make money. But why would 3 (or 4) billionaires bother loaning about £10m to a third division football club for the likely pay back of about £250k each? They aren't a bank, there's no indication they want to become a bank, there are indications that they're interested in investing in sports teams. I don't think it's taking a giant leap to suggest that a quarter of a million profit sometime down the line probably isn't the sole reason for these American billionaires giving money to a third division English football club, you'd have to be pretty naive, or deliberately pessimistic, to even entertain the idea. I'm sure they want profit from their involvement with SAFC, absolutely, but they want a lot more than about a million between them
Lets not say that shall we!Ive read the brochure on ignorance and whilst the pictures are nice and the language a tad simplistic in the end i decided it was not for me!Let's just agree that you're coming at it from a position of complete ignorance. I bet it makes sense to them.
I've got an idea who it either maybe or akin to it maybe.
Either way the posts are clearly agenda driven and somewhat defamatory.
Why would financial fair play get anything out of it?
Danger.Danger!Fabric of universe in danger of imploding because oddbod made a typo!
I just feel I've been deceived by the club into getting my hopes up only to be for the trillionth time let down.
I’m more of a proofs in the pudding type of guy, if what’s happened so far under coton is anything to go by then I stand by my may as well set fire to the cash post.well you people care about the CVs of the people who do the jonb-otr you pretend to when you talk about richard hill's CV-and citins is just about fine for the job..the people who came before him were much much moworse thamn he..and corrupt as well..so he is an improvemmnt..even of he is no good..while hill is an improvemtn on the disaste r ellis short appointed to the role-its that diastrous appointment that srtil;l holds safc back..
Happens that way with people who'd be better suited to supporting the Magseverything is so black and white with you ffs.
I would imagine if the Yanks have invested that much that they'll have someone put in place to oversee that investment.I’m more of a proofs in the pudding type of guy, if what’s happened so far under coton is anything to go by then I stand by my may as well set fire to the cash post.
So the Mbappe deal’s off then?I dont think there'll be much going into transfers above what we were already going to do- from the interview anyway.
League One for a while then build slowly?

Unless they plan to significantly invest in and completely overhaul the recruitment team, process and policy then we are still knackered.
