the weird thing is, the managerial appointments with the exception of di canio, have had the consensus approval of the fans. Almost everyone I spoke to was really happy when they appointed Moyes.

Who should Moyes successor be, should he go?

If Moyes doesn't rise to Short's bait and resign and there's no agreement on compo I'd put the fucker on gardening leave so he has to sit out the next three years getting his money monthly and no option to take another job. We'd all love that I suppose but it puts his f***ing career at an end.

If Moyes goes, I don't trust Short with choosing his replacement. He hasn't got the acumen to think outside of the unemployed have tracksuit will travel manager.

I'm expecting a statement to say that Moyes is staying, acknowledging this season has been a disaster, but he's the man to rebuild the club and get us back where we belong and has total backing from Short. The only thing that can fuck that up,imo,is if Short is close to completing a deal to sell.

Think Bain will probably find the replacement, not sure whether that is any better mind

That's what I'm expecting too. If the sale thing happened, we'd just have to roll with it.
Bottom line is, if Short wants his money back he needs to sell at a now unrealistic valuation. He must back Moyes or whoever to achieve promotion.
